POWER TO EMPOWER COMPLETELY- Part 3
By Pastor Henry
Catastrophes and natural disasters will increase. In the midst of
calamities, godly fire will break out and true revival will take place

The number 10 in the Bible speaks of the plagues God brought upon Egypt. Ten plagues came upon Egypt and then God brought deliverance to his people. In the year 2010, we are going to see more catastrophes. We are going to see more disasters all over the world. The scientists and the experts of the environment and nature will not be able to predict, control or explain these things because the very earth that is being violated and corrupted by man, on which blood is being shed, will fight back against man. All the elements of nature will be harnessed for this cause - the wind, the waves, the sun and fire will come together with other elements to bring forth destruction because man is corrupting and perverting the planet.
We are going to see more earthquakes, we are going to see the boundaries of the seas being broken. We will see lands disappearing. We will see the desert expanding. We will see the ice melting in the north and in the south, bringing a lot of climatic threats globally. We will see floods in places that have never been known to flood before. We will see fires where there never were fires before.
And speaking of fire, let me say this to you, this year, you are going to hear about many, many fires. Fire will be the final judgment. So I urge you, please do not give the devil any room to play with fire in your house because this is going to be a very common tool the enemy will use against many. It’s going to be a year of unpredictable, uncontrollable fire. It is not only going to be ungodly fire, but the good news is, there is going to be some godly fire as well. There will be godly fire in the church because of all the ten judgments of fire that fell on men in the Bible, six were on the ungodly and four was for the benefit of the godly. There will be more judgment on the ungodly but we will see great blessing upon the church of God as well. Which fire you want, you better choose. Do you want Holy Ghost fire or ungodly fire?
The next thing that is going to happen is that the faith of believers will be tested completely. We are going to be tested to a great extent so that we will become purer than gold. Many heroes of faith will appear. People who have no name, people who are unknown, God will raise them up and they will appear as pillars of faith that will shake nations.
Many martyrs will also rise up. Martyrs are those believers who are willing to lay down their lives for Christ, who are willing to die for Christ. I remember this testimony in China as this lady was telling of how she and many others went to prison and she suffered as they tortured her and did all kinds of evil to her and all the others were weeping. When those who wept were asked why they were weeping, they each said, “Why didn’t God give me this privilege so that I can also suffer for him?” Jesus said, “Blessed are ye that men revile you and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my name’s sake, rejoice for they did the same thing to the prophets.” So when we suffer for Christ, we identify ourselves with the prophets and apostles of God. So there will be many believers who will go all out to give their lives for the Lord. Amen.
Rebellion in the global church will also be common because there will be a lot of cold and lukewarm Christians in the church. False leaders will increase, not only in the world but also in the church. The true church of Christ, the born again, blood washed ones, will have many reasons to rejoice. People will not understand the reason for our joy and excitement in the midst of all the calamities because we know as the scripture says, that those who are in Christ have a complete assurance of security in Christ. In the epistle of Romans, Paul said, “Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.”
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
|
Paul did not say that we will not face any trials but he says we will face all these things but none of these things can separate us from the love of God and the security that Christ has given us. Not even death can separate us, not even death can frighten us. Hallelujah! Why? Because we have a living relationship with him and all these things mean nothing because we have a connection with the almighty God of the universe. So many godly women and men will rise up above the persecutions the enemy will throw at them.
There will be great preaching of salvation globally and Jesus’ name will be exalted in its completeness. Where the Word is being preached, there will be a great change – there will be true revival. Revival is not about Christians jumping up and down, swinging on the ceiling and falling all over the place, revival is when the sinner runs to the church and gets saved. Revival is when the thief returns what he has stolen. Revival is when the runaway husband or runaway wife comes home in repentance. Revival is when there is no more robbery and it is safe to walk in the streets. Revival is when people begin to give when nobody asked them to give. Revival is when you are concerned for the lost, for the poor, the outcast and the needy. That’s revival.
Revival is holiness. It’s not about becoming rich and famous with designer clothes and fancy pants and all those stuff. No! It’s holiness. Revival is when the prisons in Malaysia are empty. The last 10 years, 10 prisons have been built, all of them full. Revival is when your yea is yea and your nay is nay. Revival is about how well you treat your wife, your children and the things of God. That’s revival.
And you are going to see more of it this year. You are going to see it take place not so much in church buildings. Instead, you are going to see it out there, amongst people who have no history or knowledge of church history. That is going to happen. His name will be exalted by businessmen in the marketplace, by politicians - people out there are going to put to shame the man who stands behind the holy desk with his fancy clothes. God is going to visit you in your homes and in your kitchens and in your shops - wherever you are, doing the work God wants you to do. It will be outside the religious buildings and not inside. Hallelujah!
